تدور أحداث الفيلم حول شاب يدعى طه

وهو شاب بسيط خريج معهد حاسب آلي ينتمي لأسرة فقيرة

وهو قصير القامة محدود الذكاء ضعيف البنية مقهور من المجتمع .. من أمه وأبيه وحبيبته

يضطر للكذب على خطيبته فيدعي أنه سافر للكويت بسبب عدم عثوره على فرصة عمل

حيث يبحث عن أي وظيفة دون جدوى ، وفي المقابل يعاني والده أيضاً من البطالة

بعد أن تم خصخصة المصنع الذي يعمل فيه وتم تسريح العمال إلى المعاش المبكر

فيتعاون طه مع عصابة معينة تحاول الإنتقام من صاحب المصنع

ولكن يتم إختطافه ولا يجد من يدفع له الفدية التي تطلبها العصابة .
